View Members    All active members have an activation date or "LifeMember" after their names - if your name appears on the list without a date, this means you are not renewed for the current show year, therefore, points cannot be accrued for the current show year.
THIS DATE IS NOT AN EXPIRATION DATE, BUT THE DATE THAT YOUR MEMBERSHIP BECAME ACTIVE WITH THE VHSA.

Associate Championship Horse Show Prize List

Qualifying for the VHSA Associate Horse show

1)  The horse/pony must be registered with the VHSA.  If you cannot find your horse/pony's name on the list under POINTS, then either the animal is not recorded or the owner is not a current member.

2)  The owner of the horse/pony must be a current VHSA member.  If the owner's name is either not on the membership list or there is not an activation date next to the owner's name, they are not a current member of the VHSA.

3)  The rider must be a current VHSA member.  If the rider's name is either not on the membership list or there is not an activation date next to the rider's name, they are not a current member of the VHSA.

4)  The registered horse/pony whose owner is a current member must have competed at four Associate recognized horse shows in any division, even non-VHSA rated divisions.  The rider (if different from the owner) as a current member of the VHSA must have competed at four Associate recognized horse shows in any division, even non-VHSA rated divisions.  (To qualify it does not have to be the same horse/rider combination.)

If the answer is YES to all of the above, then you are qualified to enter and exhibit at the VHSA Associate Horse Show.   If you have any questions pertaining to this, please contact the VHSA office either by e-mail (vhsa@verizon.net) or by phone (540)349-0910.

The deadline for entries is October 27, 2020.  Please make sure that you mail your entry to the Show Secretary, Debbie Bowden, whose address is on the Entry Form.  Please do not send them to the VHSA Office.

Please make sure to spell the horse/pony's name on all entry forms exactly as it is recorded with the VHSA.  If a name appears on the results differently, then the points will not be entered.  Also, the correct owner (as registered with the VHSA) must be listed on the entry results so that points will be entered.
