The 2008 Point System for "A", "B" and "C" Rated Horse Shows
Unfortunately, the new software program that we were  trying to use so that we could implement the "new increment point system" cannot be used.  We will have to use the old software program and revert back to the old point system.  We apologize for this and know how disappointed our members will be, but feel that if we do not revert back to the old system we will not be able to update the points accurately or in a timely manner by using the new system that did not live up to it's potential.  We have been working nights and weekends to enter the show results (once again) into the old system and will update the show points as soon as possible.

2008 Associate Pony Jump Heights
Effective immediately, the new pony jump heights for the VHSA Associate Program are as follows:

Small-Medium Pony:
The height for this division shall be no lower than Small 2', Medium 2'3".

Large Pony:
The height for this division shall be no lower than 2'6".

Green Pony:
The height for this division shall be no lower than Small 2', Medium 2'3", Large 2'6".

Pony Equitation Class:
The heights for this class shall be no lower than small 2', medium 2'3", and large 2' 6".

Three Year Old Hunter Division
The jump height for the VHSA Three Year Old Hunter Division will be 2'9" (not 3'0").  Any Three Year Old Hunter Division that is combined with the Four Year Old Hunter Division at a horse show will count, as long as the Three Year Olds jump the 2'9" required height.   The VHSA does not currently recognize Four Year Old Hunters as a Year-End Awards Division.
